In Kuyaloma community, we live Andi Vargas family, we are of Quechua origin and culture of the Ecuadorian Amazon. We are where our elders (as) have developed their own customs with them grew and practice our own energies and so valuable knowledge gained from our Mother Nature.

Our duty is to practice and maintain the learned skills that our elders have left for hundreds of years, as is the use of medicinal plants for physical and spiritual healing and for the transmission of energy and ancestral wisdom, and offer to discover the spiritual world the use of mother Ayahuasca medicine. Currently with tourist activities and retreats in our wet forest Amazonian we are leading our visitors to live in harmony with nature, shared in balance towards the material and spiritual world.

Luis andi yachac 

Has, 65, is a highly respected teacher by profession to be Shaman (Yachac Curaca-Wise). In addition to the legacy of their ancestors, has acquired knowledge since childhood and has received energies of 28 teachers of the foremost scholars of different cultures in the region, Ecuador and peruana.Posee experience energy management practices, based on their knowledge of nature spirits. More than 50 years he has been practicing the use of medicinal plants of their own forest to purify the blood and treat disease and make clean energy spiritual healing ceremonies where use special essences of plantas.También will guide makes trance visions will experience with the sacred drink ayahuasca plant.

Doña Inés Vargas

He is 66 years old and works with her husband. It has a very good energy and is specialized in the preparation of the sacred plant ayahuasca. It is responsible for controlling the strength of the plant and take care of customers during ceremonies. She also knows other plants to clean or remove the negative effects of people during the effect of the medicine mother.

The shaman Juan Andi’s son and assistant Don Luis and Dona Ines. Share knowledge and practices of his father and grandparents at an early age. It also works with other teachers and shamans to learn and support the work of his family.

How Ayahuasca and Chacruna prepared?.

Ayahuasca plant (Banisteriopsis caapi) must be collected during the day can be in the morning or afternoon. To maintain good energy, you must request permission from the parent plant. Then preparations were conducted jointly with the sheet Chacruna (Psychotria Viridis). The plants are placed in the pot and then put water.
The mixture will remain in the high heat for 4 hours. Wait until you have a strong concentrate and sparingly. When ready the vine ayahuasca and Chali leaves are removed and the liquid is left for thirty minutes for your special concentrated. Then you are ready for the evening ceremony.
